- 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2–3 lemons)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and lemon juice to the skillet, scraping any bits from the bottom for extra flavor. Simmer for about five minutes until slightly thickened.
- Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet along with the drained pasta. Toss everything together until well coated.
