  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the ground beef with chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with meat mixture and half of the cheddar cheese in a large bowl.
