Smash Burger Tacos bring together the juiciness of a burger and the zest of a taco for a flavor-packed meal that’s quick and easy to make.

- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 8 corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup pickles (optional)
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients: chop lettuce, dice tomatoes, and set out tortillas.
- In a bowl, gently mix ground beef with taco seasoning and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. Form small balls of seasoned beef and smash each down to about 1/2 inch thick.
- Cook patties undisturbed for 3–4 minutes until crispy edges form, then flip and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
- During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle cheese on top to melt.
- Assemble tacos by layering crispy lettuce, cheesy patty, diced tomatoes, onions, and pickles in each tortilla.
