  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 8 oz flank steak, sliced against the grain
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping vegetables and slicing the beef.
  2. Cook lo mein noodles in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and reserve half a cup of pasta water.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned (about 3 minutes).
  4. Add broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers; stir-fry for another 3 minutes until veggies are tender-crisp.
  5. Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and reserved pasta water in a bowl. Pour over the beef and vegetables; stir well.
  6. Add cooked noodles to the skillet; toss until coated with sauce. Serve hot.
