Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on
  • 3 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly. Place marinated salmon skin-side down on the sheet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until flaky and cooked through.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with rice or steamed vegetables.
