  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 6 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp fresh sage (chopped)
  • 2 cups chicken broth (low-sodium)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, and chopped herbs.
  2. Place the thawed turkey in a roasting pan or brining bag. Pour the marinade over the turkey, ensuring it is well coated.
  3. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 12 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Add chicken broth to the bottom of the roasting pan.
  5. Roast the turkey uncovered for about 3 to 4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), basting with pan juices every hour.
