Description

Samoa Brownies are a decadent dessert that beautifully merges the classic flavors of Samoa cookies with fudgy brownies.   • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup shredded coconut (toasted)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (toasted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, sift together flour and cocoa powder; gradually add to wet ingredients until combined.
  4. Fold in half of the toasted shredded coconut into the batter.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. After cooling slightly, drizzle warm caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with remaining coconut and nuts. Cut into squares and serve.
