- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup shredded coconut (toasted)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (toasted)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until smooth.
- In another bowl, sift together flour and cocoa powder; gradually add to wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in half of the toasted shredded coconut into the batter.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- After cooling slightly, drizzle warm caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with remaining coconut and nuts. Cut into squares and serve.
