- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch pie pan.
- In a large bowl, toss sliced pears with sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt; set aside.
- Roll out half of the dough into a circle and fit it into the pie pan. Pour in the pear mixture and dot with butter.
- Cover with the second dough circle, crimp edges to seal, and cut slits for steam.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 425°F (220°C), then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for another 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
