- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast, letting it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, oregano, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil; stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface; knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle (1/2 inch thick). Cut into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Place shredded mozzarella on each strip, fold them over lengthwise, and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
