  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 3 tbsp pure honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by washing and chopping the carrots, and trimming the green beans.
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot. Add carrots first; cook for 5 minutes before adding green beans. Cook for an additional 3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Drain vegetables and set aside.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, then stir in honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  5. Add drained carrots and green beans to the skillet; toss to coat in the glaze.
  6. Serve warm on a platter or individual plates with an optional drizzle of honey on top.
