  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup pure honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts; season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil until well combined.
  3. Marinate the chicken in half of the sauce for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
  4. Place marinated chicken in a lined baking dish and pour remaining sauce over it. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
