- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup tzatziki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, parsley, garlic, onion, breadcrumbs, lemon juice, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Scoop the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Wrap pita breads in foil and warm them in the oven for about 5 minutes.
