  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your pan by lining an 8×8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt together the sweetened condensed milk and dark chocolate chips until smooth and glossy.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg until well combined.
  4. If using nuts, fold them into the mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Refrigerate for about 2 hours until firm.
  6. Once set, lift out using parchment paper and slice into squares to serve.
