  • ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ¾ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Nutella (divided)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8-inch pie dish.
  2. Cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour and baking soda until just combined—do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in half of the Nutella into the dough, creating swirls.
  6. Spread half of the cookie dough into the prepared pie dish, then add the remaining Nutella on top before covering with the rest of the dough.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
