- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 12 oz penne or fusilli pasta
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 green onions, sliced (for topping)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown (6 minutes per side). Remove and slice.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat and combine buffalo sauce and heavy cream. Stir until smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Use reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Serve hot topped with shredded cheese and green onions.
