  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed.
  5. In a small bowl, mix additional sugar and cinnamon for topping.
  6. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan; sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it. Add the remaining batter and finish with the rest of the topping.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
