  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  6. Spoon half of the muffin batter into each liner, sprinkle the cinnamon mixture on top, then add the remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
