  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream softened butter with brown and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. In another bowl, blend softened cream cheese with a bit of sugar until smooth.
  7. Scoop cookie dough onto the prepared sheets and flatten slightly. Place about a teaspoon of cheesecake filling in the center and encase it with dough.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
