- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups canned tomato sauce

- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil rigatoni in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté onions in olive oil until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Push onions aside, add ground beef, and brown for about 8 minutes.
- Stir in tomato sauce and Italian seasoning; let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine cooked rigatoni with the meat sauce until well coated.
