Description

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and milk until smooth (about 2 minutes).
  3. Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  4. Poke holes all over the top of the cooled cake using a fork.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together instant pudding mix and cold milk until thickened (about 2-3 minutes). Pour over the poked cake.
  6. Spread chocolate frosting evenly on top and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
