  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 lb pork sausage
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slices thick-cut bacon
  • BBQ sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, pork sausage, breadcrumbs, eggs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper until just mixed.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Wrap each meatball in a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  5. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes until bacon is crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Optionally brush with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of baking.
