Description

Apple Cinnamon Crumb Muffins are a delightful way to start your day, combining sweet apples and warm spices for a cozy treat.   • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups diced fresh apples (Granny Smith preferred)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and mix with melted butter and milk until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
  5. For the streusel topping, mix together 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 tbsp melted butter, and 1 tsp cinnamon until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of each muffin before baking.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
