Description

Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu is a delightful and indulgent twist on the classic Italian dessert. Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed espresso
  • 2 tbsp amaretto liqueur
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies (about 200g)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese (240g)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (100g)
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved (150g)
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Brew espresso and let it cool; stir in amaretto.
  2. Wash and pit cherries; set aside some whole for garnish.
  3. In a bowl, mix mascarpone and sugar until smooth; fold in half of the cherry halves.
  4. Dip ladyfingers quickly in the espresso mixture and layer them in a dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, add another layer of dipped ladyfingers, and top with remaining mascarpone.
  6. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving; dust with cocoa powder and garnish with whole cherries.
