Description

Hearty Beef-Stuffed Pasta Shells are a comforting family favorite, featuring tender pasta shells filled with savory beef, rich cheese, and aromatic herbs. This easy recipe will be a hit at your dinner table!


Ingredients

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (divided)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, sauté onion in olive oil over medium heat until translucent. Add garlic for the last minute.
  3. In a bowl, combine cooked beef, sautéed onions and garlic, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each shell with the beef mixture and arrange in a baking dish coated with half of the marinara sauce.
  5. Pour remaining sauce over the shells and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly.
