  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 green onions (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring chicken broth to a boil. Gradually whisk in stone-ground grits, stirring continuously until smooth. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes until creamy.
  2. In a skillet, cook sliced Andouille sausage over medium heat until browned (5-7 minutes). Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet along with Cajun seasoning, cooking until pink (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Stir in butter into the cooked grits until melted and creamy.
  5. Serve grits topped with the shrimp and sausage mixture, garnished with chopped green onions.
