  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef against the grain and chop the bell peppers and broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
  2. Marinate the beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and honey for about 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil when hot.
  4. Add marinated beef in a single layer, searing for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan.
  5. Stir-fry bell peppers and broccoli in the same pan for about 5 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  6. Return beef to the pan, tossing everything together. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
