Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 red snapper fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 fresh lemons (zest and juice)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, then place the red snapper fillets skin-side down, seasoning them with salt and pepper.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Stir in the lemon zest and juice; cook for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Pour half of the lemon cream sauce over the fish and bake for 15-20 minutes until flaky.
  5. Once cooked, drizzle with remaining sauce, garnish with parsley, and serve.
