  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whip egg whites in a clean bowl until soft peaks form (about 5 minutes).
  3. Gradually add granulated sugar, continuing to whip until glossy and stiff peaks form (7-10 minutes).
  4. Gently fold in vanilla extract and white vinegar.
  5. Spoon the meringue onto the baking sheet, shaping it into a circle with raised edges.
  6. Bake for 1 hour until dry outside; turn off the oven and let cool inside.
  7. Whip cold cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  8. Once cooled, spread whipped cream over the pavlova and top with sliced strawberries.
